A professional coach is often compared to a counselor, mentor, or consultant, and a professional parent coach is often compared to a doula. However, there are some key differences! Ultimately, a coach will partner with you in order to achieve your goals and create long-lasting changes in your life. We will work together on somatic, emotional, mental, behavioral, and unconscious levels to support you in embodying exactly the kind of parent you want to be, in a way that feels both sustainable and empowering. 

Kate Takes Care offers parent coaching services, balancing your needs for practical guidance and mental & emotional support. Practical advice may include, but is not limited to: sleep training, bottle and breastfeeding, scheduling, diaper changing, basic nutritional information, infant + early childhood development, and so on. Mental & emotional support will be completely customized to you, but may surround your relationships, identity, confidence, feelings of stress or sadness, balance and structure, and/or setting boundaries. "Extras" are included in each coaching package, including but not limited to: exclusive meditations, suggested reading lists, customized registries, nursery + playroom design assistance, and additional information + worksheets. Coaching services can begin during any stage of pregnancy or postpartum.

A Clarity Call is a completely free, 45-minute initial meeting to take place via Zoom during which you can elaborate on your family and the services you're looking for, ask any questions, and get a sense of whether KTC is the right fit for you and your family. Kate will also give you a glimpse into the powerful effects of her unique coaching methodology and outline what your customized coaching package will look like. 

Kate has been a professional infant and toddler nanny for 8+ years. She has completed a certified sleep training course, has her undergraduate degree in psychology from one of the top programs in the United States (Indiana University), and is a Mastery Method Coach, educated at the Institute for Coaching Mastery. 

Services start at $3,795 and increase based on which package is selected and whether birth doula services are requested as well.
